WHEN I WENT TO SURAJKUND
When I was in college. I visited surajkund mela. I went surajkund mela for the first time. I saw there was a lake. There were boats in the lake. I did go for boating there. There was a scenery that was very good. Scenery was like typical village and was decorated like a rural marketplace. They displayed handloom and handicrafts items- jingle of toys,paintings , textile, pottery, stone work, grass work. Wood stone was an amazing variety in each crafts. Grass crafts were in the form of toys , baskets, dolls. There were various cultural programms for entertainment like folk dance , other rural activities and muscial evening throughout the mela fortnight . There were magic shows and puppet shows also. Staple food were also there. I enjoyed a lot and then came back to home. I wish I see surajkund again in the next year .
